Making room for a new
tattoo: Laser tattoo removal
Tattoos have become a very common
fashion statement over the last decade, but after a few years, many
people are looking to remove them. There are a number of permanent and
non-permanent tattoo removal methods, from cover up foundation to laser
treatments and abrasive creams.
Laser tattoo removal is becoming very popular but are you aware of
the process?
Laser machines are able to remove a
wide variety of tattoos – almost any shape and size on any area of the
face and body. Laser removal can take a number of sessions; however
fading of the tattoo can be achieved in just one session. It is
recommended to have 8-12 session depending on the size of the tattoo.
The experience can vary depending on the location of the tattoo, however
if you have already experienced the pain from previous art work the
feeling can be described to be very similar.
Once the treatment is complete
patients can resume to normal activities immediately however it is
suggested that you avoid vigorous activities. This process is not
recommended prior to a holiday or sun exposure.
Seek advice from your local clinic
and ensure that you leave enough time to go through the recommended
sessions before booking in for your next tattoo!
